Yellowhawk Resort
2901 Old Milton Hwy
Walla Walla, WA 99362
United States
Our wedding will take place at Yellowhawk Resort, located just outside downtown Walla Walla.
• Approximately 10 minutes from downtown hotels
• Approximately 10 minutes from Walla Walla Regional Airport
We are delighted to welcome children at our wedding. We hope this allows families to celebrate together in a way that feels joyful and relaxed.
Attire is cocktail with a vineyard setting in mind. Think polished, comfortable, and ready for an indoor/outdoor (grassy) celebration!
Please note that Uber, Lyft, and other rideshare options are very limited in Walla Walla. For guests’ convenience, we will provide shuttle transportation from the downtown Walla Walla hotel area to Yellowhawk Resort, with anticipated departure times around 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Return shuttles will also be available toward the end of the evening and at the conclusion of the wedding, returning guests to the hotel area.
The most convenient airport is Walla Walla Regional Airport, which offers daily commercial flights with connections through Seattle. The airport is small, efficient, and located just minutes from downtown.
For additional flight options, Pasco Tri-Cities Airport is approximately a 45–50 minute drive from Walla Walla and is served by several major airlines.
Walla Walla is an easy and scenic drive:
• Approximately 4 hours from Seattle
• Approximately 4 hours from Boise
• Approximately 45–50 minutes from Pasco/Tri-Cities
Rental cars are widely available and are the most convenient way to explore the region.
Walla Walla is internationally recognized for its wine. Many guests enjoy tasting by neighborhood: Downtown for walkability, and surrounding areas for estate experiences. Reservations are recommended where available, particularly on weekends.

If You Have One Afternoon:
• Downtown tasting rooms (walkable and efficient)

September is a beautiful and popular time to visit Walla Walla, so we recommend booking accommodations early. Below are a few options we love, each offering a distinct experience:
• Best Western Plus Walla Walla Suites Inn – An all-suite hotel offering extra space, complimentary breakfast, and a comfortable, family-friendly stay.
• Comfort Inn & Suites Walla Walla – A well-priced, all-suite option with generous room layouts, complimentary breakfast, and easy access to major roads and amenities.
• Courtyard by Marriott Walla Walla – A polished, convenient option near downtown and the airport. We usually stay at this hotel (when traveling with children) because they have a pool and hot tub.
• Eritage Resort – A tranquil, vineyard-adjacent resort with spacious suites and a more secluded setting.
• La Quinta Inn & Suites – A bright, approachable option with spacious suites, complimentary breakfast, and an easy, reliable stay close to the airport and main thoroughfares.
• The FINCH – A stylish boutique hotel with a relaxed, modern sensibility, within walking distance of downtown.
• The Marcus Whitman Hotel – A historic downtown landmark offering classic elegance and walkable access to downtown. This is our favorite hotel in Walla Walla (when traveling without children).
